The song chosen and why

The song that I chose is Everytime and it is sung by Britney Spears. Miss Spears has always been my number 1 favorite singer. So, if I have to choose a song to illustrate, without doubt it will be from one of her works. I feel that Everytime will be a good choice because this song means a lot to me as well as Britney. It was the first song that Britney wrote based on her post-relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. If you read the media, you would know that her break up with Justin was the cause for her breakdown and it was also the beginning of her fall from grace. A few months later, she put all her feelings down in words and created this wonderful song. It was like an apology letter from her to Justin saying how sorry she was and how much she wanted him to get back together with her. So, it is really emotional. I feel that I can easily relate to that song as I’d experienced heartbreak before. Who doesn’t anyway?
