Poster whose layout I chose to follow or use as reference:-
I chose to follow this layout because the main objects in this poster were emphasized. I can clearly state that the roses were the main objects in this poster. Besides that, I also noticed that the roses on the upper left corner were balanced by the roses on the bottom right corner.
Images used:-
1. The Hand
The hands here were suppose to bring out the message that someone wanted to hold the other person's hand but the other person had doubt. In other words, one party wanted to get back together with the other party but the other party had doubt whether to accept that.
2. The Couple
A couple that used to love each other pretends that the other person was a stranger when they met one day. It can also mean that one party (the guy because he lowered his head) suffered from the breakup while the other party (the gal) move on easily.

A heart that was split into 2. What else could it mean ?

Use of tools in Photoshop
Background:-
1. The background was made by applying gradient diagonally across the page. The colours used were yellow and pink.
2. The heart was selected using magic wand tool and then being cut and paste to the background layer.
3. Set the opacity of the heart to 44 and set the fill to 50.
4. Apply Filter>Artistic>Rough Pastels.
Text:-
1. The text was added to the poster by using the horizontal type tool.
2. The font chose was Script MT Bold and the colour chose was brown. It was suppose to give a depress feel to the poster.
3. The font chose for the first alphabet, N, was Blackadder ITC. This N was then being resize and transform using wrap tool.
4. Apply Drop Shadow>Blend Mode>Luminosity to it.
Couple:-
1. The couple were selected using the magic wand and then being cut and pasted to the poster.
2. Apply Filter>Artistic>Underpainting.
3. Apply Drop Shadow>Hard Light

2. Apply Layer Style>Blending Option>Blend Mode>Vivid Light.
3. Apply Layer Style>Drop Shadow>Multiply.
4. Apply Layer Style>Satin>Blend Mode>Multiply. Adjust the settings.
5. Apply Filter>Artistic>Poster Edges.

Conclusion:-
After serious consideration, design and layout number 2 will be chosen to be used in creating the poster.

The song chosen and why
The song that I chose is Everytime and it is sung by Britney Spears. Miss Spears has always been my number 1 favorite singer. So, if I have to choose a song to illustrate, without doubt it will be from one of her works. I feel that Everytime will be a good choice because this song means a lot to me as well as Britney. It was the first song that Britney wrote based on her post-relationship with her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. If you read the media, you would know that her break up with Justin was the cause for her breakdown and it was also the beginning of her fall from grace. A few months later, she put all her feelings down in words and created this wonderful song. It was like an apology letter from her to Justin saying how sorry she was and how much she wanted him to get back together with her. So, it is really emotional. I feel that I can easily relate to that song as I’d experienced heartbreak before. Who doesn’t anyway?Here's the full lyrics of the song and the paragraph that I chose (Bold):-

Short bio with picture
I'm not good in introducing myself as I think I am the one person that know the least about myself. However, since the assignment requires us to introduce ourselves, I guess I'll just have to crap a few general things about myself. My name is Nai Shyong and I'm 23 years old (Yeap, I guess I'm the oldest in the class), and I'm now in er..... year......(I have no idea). What's the year after Epsilon ? Yeah, I am that old :P. For those who don't know, this is actually an Alpha year subject ... lolz. Think that is not odd enough ? Well, I'm also the only Engineering student in the class :D. I think Mdm Juhanita knows me well ever since the first class as she had never call my name before while taking attendance. She ALWAYS knew whether I'm present or not. Hahaha. As I told you before that I am an Engineering student, hence my design skills are amazingly awful compare to the rest of the class. But that's alright, I can learn slowly but you have to give me some time.
